L.O.V.E. you better part 4 of 4

It’s the final installment of our 4-part journey of how to L.O.V.E. you better.

If you’ve been along for the ride (these last few weeks), you’ve learned about how to:

  • Lead you better
  • Own your progress and the things that prevents that progress
  • Value what you say is important and act like it!

Today’s final letter of our L.O.V.E. acronym and the tie that will bind it all together is E…

This “E” is where what you’ve learned about your Leading you better, Owning your journey better and Valuing what you say you value, all come together…or not.

Life isn’t so much about what happens to you, but more about what you DO with what has happened.

I’ve heard it said that when you can change your perspective from <– life happens to you, to –> life happens for you – it’s a total game changer.

Allow that to sink in for a moment.

Now think about your own life’s experiences.

Can you separate your perspective of the events that happened to you from those that happened for you?

Sometimes our worst days are the catalyst to our best redirection.  A year ago I would have totally disagreed with that perspective – so if that’s you, there’s hope, I promise!

So as we close out this series of how to L.O.V.E. you better, today’s post is to get you to look at how you ExPRESS those experiences.

Are you allowing your life’s experiences to PRESS ON you or are those experiences the very thing that keeps you PRESSing ON?

When you think about it, you have the power to control either.

Perspective is a very powerful tool to utilize FOR you.

Think of the perspectives you express in a single day – grateful, angry, forgiving, judgmental, loving, excluding…

Depending on which perspective you choose to have, you cannot simultaneously have the other one.

You cannot be grateful and angry. Forgiving and judgmental. Loving and excluding. It’s one or the other at one time.

I hope that when you think of this series of posts, it gives you the perspective that you are in control of how to L.O.V.E. you better!

Let’s take some time to really do the work it takes to L.O.V.E. ourselves better so that we are equipped to EXPRESS to the world that our perspective is to PRESS ON. The world needs encouragement through our Example!

Pressing on to make progress toward an encouraging example right there with ya,
