Are you passing your time or prioritizing it?

Passing or prioritizing our time, we know the difference. Yet so few of us effectively utilize our time in order to close the gap from where we are to where we want to be.

Passing time for me is really “code” for procrastinating to do the things that I know would move me closer to my goals.

I can be really awesome at being busy instead of prioritizing my time to be the most productive.

Can you relate? I know I’m not the only one that struggles with too busy with well…being busy.

Think of our days and how much of our time is spent on things that are in no way related to what we intended or needed to do.

I didn’t intend to spend a half an hour on facebook when I only went on there to post something in my private customer group.

I didn’t need to answer that text/call/email right this second while I was in the middle of and income producing task…

Get the picture?

If we don’t plan accordingly and pay attention we can find ourselves chasing down “that squirrel” like it’s running away with the winning lottery ticket!

Instead we need to remain focused and prioritize our time so we can go where it is we want to!

Don’t just pass time, prioritize it!

Here are some things to keep in mind when you are looking to prioritize your time, not just pass it:

  • If your emotions are out of control it’s usually a sign that your schedule (time) is out of control.
  • It’s okay to decline things that don’t fit into your planned game day right now.
  • Self-care is not selfish. Don’t wait for a
  • sooner or later…Identify your obstacles. What’s keeping you from making progress?
