Perspective (Purse-spective for my purse loving vocabulary and purposes)
a particular attitude toward or way of regarding something; a point of view
What we read, watch, listen to as well as who we surround ourselves with can be great influences when it comes to shaping our perspective.
I recently posted a sentiment on social media that received lots of likes. At the time I didn’t think it was very profound or thought anyone would even notice.
Here’s what I posted:
“As I quietly slipped back into the house after the gym this morning I had to step over a pile of sneakers, cleats, workboots, riding boots… and it just made me smile and think how thankful I am that God entrusted me with the people who fill those shoes”
Now I can’t tell you how many times I’ve had to step over that same pile and didn’t feel as warm and fuzzy as the words I posted. But, that particular day it struck me completely differently than my more typical reaction.
(think more…hot and furious than warm & fuzzy)
Maybe it was because I was feeling especially good about myself for going to the gym at O’dark thirty and my adrenaline was still pumping…
I’d like to think it’s because of my intentional focus on my Purse-suit of my big picture goals. That intentional focus has lead me to surround myself with the things and people that will support and point me to my future goals, not my past misses or mistakes.
My passion is my family and I believe my calling is to GROW (Give Reward Other Women), but it’s my business that affords me the flexibility and support to Give Reward Other Women!
So I guess you can say that since embracing my little purse biz as the vehicle to my goals and dreams rather than a hobby or job has certainly made this girl very thankful and looking at things with a much more positive purse-spective!
GROWing one day and and some days – purse at a time,
(I’m always welcoming more GROWers to my team so if you are interested in learning more click here and then let’s set up a time to meet or chat!)
